Lei Zhang elected new member of Young Entrepreneur Committee of APEC China Business Council

On June 17th, the 2023 APEC Business Leadership Conference was held in Beijing under the theme of Creating a More Sustainable Business Environment. Lei Zhang, CEO of Cheche Technology, was invited to the meeting and elected a new member of Young Entrepreneur Committee of APEC China Business Council.
The meeting has attracted vast attention from China, US, Russia and other APEC member states. More than 350 representatives from the political, business and academic communities have participated in the event and contributed to the open collaborations and sustainable and inclusive growth in Asia-Pacific region.
Hongbin Ren, president of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and president of China Chamber of International Commerce, Shouwen Wang, International Trade Negotiation Representative and Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce, and Chenxin Zhao, Deputy Director of National Development and Reform Committee, have attended the forum and gave speeches.
Initiated by APEC China Business Council, APEC Young Entrepreneur Committee was officially founded in July 2018. Relying on APEC’s forward-looking perspective and platform advantages, it provides a diversified, international and personalized space for communications among young entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, it calls for in-depth engagement of the young entrepreneurs into APEC program and a better business mechanism to cultivate future business leaders with international horizons and entrepreneurial spirit in the new era.
At present, the new session of Young Entrepreneur Committee of APEC China Business Council includes over 30 representatives from multiple industries, such as insurtech, internet, autonomous driving and investment. For example, Chang Liu, chairman of New Hope Liuhe, Min Xu, founder and chairman of Galaxy Space, Zhen Zhang, co-founder of Gaorong Capital, and Kaijing Yan, chairman of Tasly Holding Group.
Among them, Lei Zhang, founder and CEO of Cheche Technology, has been elected a member of Young Entrepreneur Committee of APEC China Business Council for several years.
